12 Must Haves for Beach Fun With a Puppy
Summer is almost here and that means long days of summertime fun at the beach. The beach is such a dynamic place for a puppy. What dog does not like romping about in the water, and how better to escape the city summer heat than a trip to the beach with your favorite four legged friend.
But what should you bring?
How should you prepare so that the day can be the fun day it will be?
We have prepared a list of essentials that will help to keep the pet safe, and help insure many more summer beach days ahead.
Of course firstly, and goes without saying, I will make the assumption that you have a good harness for the puppy, as even though it is a beach, care should be taken if the beach is also occupied by families and other people enjoying the seaside, you should be able to quickly harness the puppy if need be. Check your local ordinance on dogs on beaches to identify the local requirements for dog activity on your particular beach.
Secondly, I would say that you will also have towels with you as a standard beach kit for yourself, and the puppy to help dry it off if it goes into the water.
But what other items would be useful to make the day what it is?
