Seven Toy’s Designed to Tire Out Your Dog
A dog needs exercise daily in order for it to have a happy healthy life. Different dogs need different levels of exercise, and where we live will determine the type of consistent exercise that we can give to our dogs. Unless you live in a rural area where you have access to great hiking opportunities over long distances, and where it is not built up with urban sprawl, then for the most part, as pet owners, we are confined to what is available to us locally, which should be public parks, trails, and maybe the beach.
But even in confined spaces, or limited spaces, with the right toys, you can effectively give any dog a fulfilling workout that will satisfy its exercise requirements, and will give its body the full range of motion that it needs to fulfill a long healthy disease free life.
A backyard or front garden will even do for some of these suggestions, and even if you cannot get outside, then there is even a solution for that.
The first toy to look at is an “old standby and reliable” that should be a must in any dog owners arsenal of dog toys. It is the Rubber Ball and Rope.
Rubber Ball and Rope:
This throw ball is great for any dog who is hyper active and has a lot of energy to burn, and loves to chase high flying, and fast moving balls. It has tremendous flying distance limited only by your strength of throw. The rubber is made from non-toxic materials and will not cause any harm to your dog. The nylon rope is strong and will not rip or tear very easily.
The ball will float so it is not only great for the backyard, and the park, take it with you on your trips to the river, the lake, or the beach and have some great water time with your best friend. A must have for any dog with more energy that needs an effective exercise and workout routine to help it burn of all of that enthusiasm. Great for jumping type exercises also, just hold the ball by the rope aloft, to give your dog that extra little bit of routine, other than chase or running.
Makes a great tug toy for fun in tugging play with your dog.
A must have for any dog!
The second toy has also been around for a long time and is also an old reliable and a must have for any dog, it is commonly referred to as a “Ball Stick Throw” or more generally as a “Tennis Ball Launcher”
Tennis Ball Launcher:
With our hand held long throw tennis ball launcher, gone are the days when you have to pick up and throw a dog saliva drenched tennis ball again. With the unique ball gripping design feature of the thrower, when your loyal friend drops the ball at your feet, you simply scoop it up, and it’s ready to be launched again for more fun. Visits to the dog park, the beach, the yard can be so much more fulfilling for you and your dog. The launcher takes standard size tennis balls, so no need to fuss over special sizes. It is available in different lengths, smaller would suit a smaller breed, as it will give a shorter throw distance. Longer handled for larger breeds, for that extra-long launch. One of the most innovative and useful toys for dogs on the market to-day. The construction of our launcher is made from quality materials that are designed for durability and long life. As there are no mechanical parts to worry about, then you will always have a reliable tool to exercise your dog with. What dog does not love to chase a high flying fast moving ball? Dogs get a tremendous workout over traditional throw toys that will only fly as far as the physical ability of the owner allows. With no effort you can launch a ball ultimately greater distances with very little physical ability.
The third tool to look at is more unique and less familiar than the before mentioned toys, but with its many qualities make it unique in that it can be used effectively indoors as well as outdoors. It is the “Flirt Pole”

The cotton rope will not harm your dog and is non-toxic. You can tie a tug toy to the end of the rope to further stimulate intense play from your dog. Develop a routine where you can stimulate chase type exercise play by dragging the rope left to right, intermixed with jumping type exercise.
