Home Alone Boredom Fighting Ideas for Puppies

Home Alone Boredom Fighting Ideas for Puppies
We get a dog and life happens. We have to leave every day to go to work, to drop-off and pick up the kids from school and events, we have to go grocery shopping, and the list is endless. Sometimes there is not enough time in the day just to do the things that need to be done. But what about the puppy? After all they are now a significant part of the family, and do sometimes suffer from some of the same conditions that we suffer from.
They get bored, and are naturally inquisitive and will seek out a solution to this boredom, by sometimes being destructive. If given a task, then a puppy will gladly and enthusiastically partake in the task, especially if it involves some kind of food reward. Separation anxiety is common in puppies, but is easily treated by providing things for the pup to do.
For the most part, dogs and puppies sleep most of the day, but it is the time that they are awake that is the concern, especially if they are alone in the home.
If they do not have something to do, something that relates to their natural instincts and breeding, then strange sounds like car engines, thunder and lightning, utility workers going about daily business, will frighten the pup, and cause many social traits that may manifest in bad behavior, that is not acceptable to us the pet owner.
So how can I as a pet owner avoid this situation, what are IQ toys and Interactive toys, and how do they help?
So, let’s look at some of the most popular that are available, and in-stock.

It is important to occupy the pup or dog with a task during those awake moments when you are gone from the home.
What better task, than a treat ball or IQ ball, filled with their favorite kibble, that can both mentally and physically stimulate them, will help to pre-occupy them, so that they do not notice so much that they are;
